The island of St-Barthélémy, also called St-Barth, is surrounded by many islands and is
divided into two parishes, Sous le Vent in the west and Au Vent in the east. The two parishes
regroup around forty districts.
While visiting the island, you can discover breathtaking scenery: fine sandy beach,
fishing villages, turquoise waters and incredible viewpoints.
At Fort Gustav, you can observe the remains of the fort built by the settlers but you
will especially have a breathtaking view of Gustavia.
Warm temperatures all year round, an idyllic landscape and various activities, that’s it
what the island of St-Barthélémy has in store. With its undeniable assets, the island attracts
wealthier populations. Many tourists including some celebrities who
looking for a corner of paradise where to find serenity take up residence on the island. In St-Barth,
overseas collectivity, the official language is French but the inhabitants speak
fluent in English.
